Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about automated crypto trading with EasyGridBot.

Getting Started

What is grid trading?

Grid trading is a strategy that places buy and sell orders at preset intervals above and below the current market price. When the price moves up, sell orders get filled for profit. When the price drops, buy orders get filled at a discount. The bot profits from the natural back-and-forth movement of the market.

Do I need coding experience?

No. EasyGridBot is designed to be beginner-friendly. You connect your exchange API keys, choose your trading pairs and parameters, then press start. Everything is managed through a simple web dashboard.

How much money do I need to start?

There is no minimum from EasyGridBot. We recommend at least $50–100 so the bot has enough margin to place orders effectively. You can also practice with testnet using virtual funds before risking real money.

Which exchanges are supported?

EasyGridBot supports Bybit, Binance, and KuCoin (both mainnet and testnet). All three exchanges offer deep liquidity, low fees, and robust APIs, making them ideal for automated trading.

Security & Safety

Can EasyGridBot withdraw my funds?

No. EasyGridBot only requires API keys with trade permissions. It cannot withdraw, transfer, or move your funds. Your money stays in your exchange account at all times.

How are my API keys stored?

All API keys are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before being stored. They are only decrypted at the moment of placing a trade, and are never exposed in logs or API responses.

What happens if the market crashes?

In a sharp downturn the bot may accumulate buy positions at lower prices. You can use the emergency stop button to cancel all open orders instantly. We strongly recommend starting small and using testnet to understand bot behavior in volatile conditions. Trading involves risk and you may lose money.

Bot & Trading

Does the bot run 24/7?

Yes. Once started, the bot runs continuously on our servers, monitoring the market every 10 seconds and adjusting orders automatically. You do not need to keep your browser open.

What trading pairs can I use?

You can trade any pair available on Bybit, Binance, or KuCoin, including BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, SOL/USDT, and hundreds more. The bot supports USDT perpetual futures.

Can I run multiple bots at the same time?

Yes. You can create multiple bot configurations with different trading pairs, spread settings, and order sizes. Each bot runs independently and has its own P&L tracking.

What is the spread percentage?

The spread percentage determines how far above and below the current price the bot places its orders. For example, a 0.2% spread means the bot places a buy order 0.2% below market price and a sell order 0.2% above. A tighter spread means more frequent trades, while a wider spread means larger profit per trade.

Rewards & Fees

Is EasyGridBot free to use?

Yes. There are no subscription fees or hidden charges. You only pay the standard trading fees charged by your exchange on each trade.

What is the rewards program?

EasyGridBot offers a tiered rewards program that pays EasyGridBot Tokens (EGB) based on your total trading volume across all exchanges. The more you trade, the higher your tier and the more tokens you earn per dollar of volume. Every user participates automatically — no verification required. See the Rewards page for full details.

How do I withdraw my rewards?

From the Rewards page in the app, set your Solana wallet address and enter the amount you want to withdraw. The minimum withdrawal is 1,000 EGB tokens, with a limit of 1 withdrawal per 24 hours. Withdrawals are processed manually and typically completed within 24–48 hours.
