How to Set Up a Crypto Trading Bot in 4 Steps

Get your automated trading bot running in under 10 minutes. No coding required. Connect to Bybit, Binance, or KuCoin, pick your pairs, and let the bot trade for you around the clock.

1

Create an Exchange Account

Sign up for a free Bybit, Binance, or KuCoin account if you don't have one yet. Both are top cryptocurrency exchanges with deep liquidity and low trading fees, making them ideal for automated grid trading.

Tip: Complete identity verification to unlock full withdrawal limits and trading features.
2

Generate and Connect Your API Keys

In your exchange account, navigate to API Management and create a new API key. Enable trade permissions (read and write). Then open the EasyGridBot app, go to Settings, and paste your API key and secret.

Tip: Never share your API secret with anyone. EasyGridBot encrypts your keys with AES-256 encryption.
3

Choose Your Trading Pairs

From the dashboard, create a new bot configuration and select the cryptocurrency pairs you want to trade — for example BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, or SOL/USDT. Set your preferred spread percentage and order size. The bot supports both spot and futures markets.

Tip: For futures trading, set your account to One-Way mode and Cross Margin. The app can do this automatically from the Setup Guide page.
4

Hit Start — Your Bot Is Live

Press the start button and your bot begins placing orders automatically. It monitors the market every 10 seconds, adjusts orders to stay at the optimal price, and runs 24/7 without any intervention. Track your performance, profits, and trade history in real time from the dashboard.

Tip: Use the Analytics page to monitor win rate, realized P&L, and total trading volume.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a crypto trading bot?

A crypto trading bot is software that automatically places buy and sell orders on a cryptocurrency exchange on your behalf. EasyGridBot uses a grid trading strategy, placing orders at set intervals above and below the market price to profit from natural price fluctuations.

Do I need coding experience to use EasyGridBot?

No. EasyGridBot is designed to be beginner-friendly. You just connect your exchange API keys, choose your trading pairs, and start the bot. Everything is managed through a simple web dashboard.

Is my money safe?

Your funds never leave your exchange account. EasyGridBot only connects through API keys with trade permissions — it cannot withdraw funds. All API keys are encrypted with AES-256 encryption.

What trading pairs can I use?

You can trade any pair available on Bybit, Binance, or KuCoin, including popular pairs like BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, SOL/USDT, and hundreds more. The bot supports both spot and USDT perpetual futures markets.

How much capital do I need to start?

There is no minimum requirement from EasyGridBot. However, we recommend starting with at least $50-100 so the bot has enough margin to place multiple orders effectively.
